Your Marriage Matters. It matters to us, your neighbors, your family, your kids and God.  We want to encourage you as you and your spouse seek holiness in your marriage. We desire for you to know God's design for your marriage and your role as a husband and wife.  In addition, we hope to provide you with opportunities for you to connect, grow, learn and laugh with each other alongside other couples doing the same, no matter your age, stage or health of marriage. Our prayer is for your marriage to be so rooted in the gospel that others will find Jesus in the way you love each other.

EVENTS

We want to invite you to join us on the following dates for adventures with your spouse. All of our events are for engaged and married couples, no matter the age, stage or health of your marriage or if you call Forum your church home, somewhere else, or nowhere at all. We welcome you to be a part of a community of couples who desire to grow their friendship with their spouse.

MARRIAGE MENTORS

Marriage Mentoring promotes God-honoring marriages by encouraging a loving and respectful husband/wife relationship. A trained mentor couple will offer you hope and practical support for growing closer to God and to one another. With God's help, you and your spouse can build a Christ-centered marriage and a strong family.

  • When you sign up for marriage mentoring, you will be asked to fill out a brief information form providing contact information and answering questions about your relationship and the type of help you are seeking.

    These areas of help include:

    - Establishing a Biblical foundation for your (relatively) new marriage.

    - Elevating your good husband/wife relationship to a great, God-honoring marriage. - Enduring a struggling situation with the hope of a longer and stronger marriage.

After completing the requested information, you will be matched with a trained mentor couple. Your mentor couple will contact you and schedule a convenient time and place to meet.

  • When you meet with your mentor couple, they will first get to know you and determine your needs. Their goal is to listen and come alongside you with encouragement and helpful questions. Also, you will examine passages from the Bible focusing on relationships. You will discuss ways to apply Scripture to your vertical relationship with God and your horizontal relationship with your spouse. Assignments based on these passages will help you affirm your relationship with your spouse and provide a point of discussion with your mentor couple.

  • You will have many opportunities to ask questions and seek assistance in building your marriage as you grow closer to God and closer to each another.

Your mentor couple recognizes the challenges of marriage, and want to help you navigate the application of grace to your spouse. With God’s help and the love expressed to you by your mentor couple, your marriage can honor the One who created the intimate relationship designed and desired for you and your spouse.

MARRIAGE CLASS

Love Like Jesus

STARTS SUNDAY MARCH 30, 10:00 AM in ROOM 202

“All You Need is Love,” was a famous song by the Beatles.  In the book of Matthew, Jesus has a lot to say about love.  How we should love God, how we should love our neighbors and even how we should love our enemies. In the book of Ephesians, Paul discusses how husbands should love their wives.  And, wives how you should love your husbands.  In this new study based on the book “Love Like Jesus,” by Christian author Kurt Bennett, we’ll discuss how we too can love like Jesus.  We will discuss a love that can be like superglue to bind your marriage together.  We’ll discuss how we can love like Jesus, and love family members, neighbors, coworkers, and even those people who don’t love us back.

Love Like Jesus is a 10 week class that explores how Jesus loved others led by Steve and Marilyn Roberts.
