WOMEN’S STUDIES

Studying together provides so many opportunities for spiritual growth.  These opportunities can challenge us and strengthen our understanding of God’s Word and what it really looks like to live like Him.  Below you will find details for our current study groups. No matter where you are in life, there is a group for you!

MENTORING

This ministry exists to intentionally develop friendships among women of different generations as they invest in each other through encouragement, guidance, listening, and love. The goal is to form strong and lasting relationships that are a source of support, growth, and strength. 

ACCOUNTABILITY GROUPS

Lasting freedom can be found from the bondage of pornography. We want to partner with you in living in purity and integrity by providing strategies and encouragement.

  • HOLY GHOST STORIES

    2ND MONDAY OF EVERY MONTH

    7:00 PM // ROOM 200

    Holy Ghost Stories is an evening for women to meet and encourage each other with stories of how the Holy Spirit is working in their lives. The stories shared are a testament to the Holy Spirit being active in the lives of God's people here at Forum. Come and listen or come and share!

  • PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY

    2ND TUESDAY OF EVERY MONTH 10:00-11:30 AM // LOBBY

    The Prayer Shawl Ministry was started in the 1980’s in churches all over the United States. These groups came together to knit and crochet prayer shawls and lap blankets and to then pray over and anoint each of them with oil. When someone within the church sees a need for prayer and comfort; whether for healing, loss of a loved one, or for someone in the hospital, a shawl is then gift wrapped and given to that person with a card of encouragement from the group.

    Forum Women’s Ministry is starting this program and would love to have you join us as we meet monthly to knit, crochet, pray and fellowship together. Beginners are welcome!

  • SENIOR CENTER GAME NIGHT

    TUESDAY, JUNE 10 FROM 5:30-7:30 PM

    Let's bring some joy and laughter to the residents of The Terrace Retirement Community! Join us as we spend time with seniors, playing games and building friendships. It's a simple, yet meaningful way to make a difference and have fun together. If you'd like to carpool, meet us at the church at 5:15 PM, or feel free to go directly to The Terrace.

  • FALL KICK-OFF

    SATURDAY, AUGUST 23 9:00-11:30 AM IN THE FAMILY LIFE CENTER

    Start the Fall season off with our annual Fall Kick Off! Dive into the heart of our Women's Ministry as we explore upcoming activities and ways to get involved within the church. We'll have a carry-in breakfast, worship, and a speaker. Join us as we connect with fellow sisters in Christ.
